The European Commission supports the implementation of projects on road, rail, inland waterway and port infrastructures within the TEN-T program for many years.
For the maritime sector the Motorways of the Sea (MoS) concept was developed for integrating ports in an optimal manner into the European Core and Comprehensive TEN-T network. ISL is well familiar with the MoS topic as it has been involved in the evaluation of the MoS concept since its beginning in 2000 and actually prepares for DG MOVE the future priorities for the next MoS period. Additionally, ISL prepared numerous TEN-T and MoS proposals for companies and public bodies of the maritime sector - and moreover, some of our project managers are serving also as external evaluators of TEN-T and MoS-proposals for the EC.
The 'Connecting Europe Facility' (CEF) as funding instrument of the TEN-T program supports implementation and pilot projects as well as studies. We offer information and support concerning this program as well as about other programs like Horizon2020, INTERREG, COST. Our service can cover ideation, finding partners, proposal writing, contract negotiations, project implementation and project management.
