First milestone meeting of HibeBB

On 26 February 2026, the first milestone meeting of HibeBB (heat protection for particularly exposed occupational groups in the federal state of Bremen) took place at the Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics (ISL). The project partners Smart Mobility Institute (SMI) at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences and the ISL presented the current status of the project and the interim results achieved to the project sponsor Bremer Aufbau-Bank (BAB).

Just in time for the first milestone, HibeBB identified the occupational groups in the federal state of Bremen that are particularly exposed to heat. In addition, a questionnaire was created for surveying companies and organisations in order to identify, among other things, adaptation measures that are already in place.
