ISL at ENVOCONNECT 2025
The sustainable transformation of ports, logistics, and shipping isn't happening at some point in the future – it's happening now. ENVOCONNECT 2025 brought together the maritime industry's thought leaders, implementers, and designers in early September in Bremen, Germany, to support and advance this important and interesting process. ISL contributed to this exciting event with a dedicated booth.
ISL Managing Director Prof. Dr. Nils Meyer-Larsen and Friederike Fontes, head of the ISL Maritime Hydrogen research group, discussed highly relevant topics such as applications of sustainable energy sources, smart port concepts, and the digitalization of ports with a highly interested and knowledgeable audience of experts. Inspiring contributions, including those of Bremen's mayor Andreas Bovenschulte and former Federal Environment Minister Jürgen Trittin, opened up new perspectives for helping to shape a sustainable future for the port and the supply chain at the interface of business, science, and technology.
