Transport Research Arena TRA 2026
Under the theme ‘Re-Generation in Transport’, the Transport Research Arena (TRA) will take place in Budapest in 2026. As Europe's leading conference for transport research and innovation, the TRA is initiated by the European Commission in collaboration with key players in the sector and is considered the largest event of its kind in Europe. It covers all modes of transport and all aspects of transport and mobility, providing a central platform for exchange on forward-looking developments in the transport sector.
TRA 2026 brings together academia, industry, policy makers and the general public to jointly shape the future of European transport research.
With over 3,000 participants from industry, more than 1,500 abstracts submitted, over 100 exhibitors and representatives from 69 countries, TRA 2026 underlines its international significance as a central European platform for exchange and innovation.
