IST at SMM 2026

From September 1 to 4, 2026, the international maritime industry will gather at SMM in Hamburg, the world’s leading trade fair for the maritime industry. ISL will also be there, joining forces with the Technology Transfer Center (ttz) to showcase current research and innovation projects focused on the future of maritime logistics.

At their joint booth, ISL and ttz will demonstrate how research and applied technologies can help make the maritime industry more sustainable, digital, and resilient. The focus will be on innovative solutions in the areas of digitalization, automation, sustainability, and intelligent logistics systems.

Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with experts from both institutions, learn about current projects, and discuss opportunities for collaboration.
