15th MARLOG Conference 2026 in Alexandria, Egypt
From February 8th to 10th, 2026, the MARLOG Conference will celebrate its 15th edition and once again invites participants to the international conference in Alexandria, Egypt. The theme for this year's event is "Smart & Resilient Logistics Corridors – Future Gateway to the Green Trade." The focus will be on innovative approaches for sustainable, digital, and resilient supply chains, as well as the role of smart logistics corridors in a changing global economy.
Once again, ISL will be a co-organizer of the event, with Friederike Fontes representing the institute. She will present the latest research on direct seawater electrolysis in the northern German region. Her work includes a techno-economic analysis of hydrogen production costs, considering various electrolysis technologies and renewable energy sources. A special emphasis will be placed on the potential of local surplus wind energy for operating electrolyzers.
