Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! 🎄
The year 2025 is drawing to a close. It has been a year marked by intensive research, exciting developments and valuable encounters for the ISL.
Together with our partners and colleagues, we have been able to advance numerous projects, initiate new ideas and provide important impetus for maritime logistics.
In recent months, we have focused primarily on issues relating to digitalisation, sustainability and data-driven decision-making processes. Whether in the form of new studies, collaborations or research projects, our work shows how dynamically the maritime industry is currently evolving and how important reliable research results are for this transformation.
We were particularly pleased with the intensive exchange at trade events, fairs and project meetings, which enabled us to engage in a lively dialogue with business, science and politics.
Looking ahead to 2026, we want to continue along this path. We want to deepen our research into sustainable logistics concepts, test new methodological approaches and, together with our partners, contribute to making the maritime industry fit for the future.
As the year draws to a close, we wish you and your families a restful Christmas season and a successful and healthy start to the new year. We look forward to continuing our successful cooperation in 2026 and to actively shaping the maritime future together.
Kind regards,
The Management Board of ISL
