Science Senator Kathrin Moosdorf visits the ISL

On 30 September, Kathrin Moosdorf, Bremen's Senator for the Environment, Climate and Science, visited ISL for her official inaugural visit.

During her stay, the ISL management and some of the staff presented her with the Institute's fields of activity and some concise and tangible project results.

Dr Nils Meyer-Larsen presented a demonstrator from previous ISL projects on the topic of hydrogen in the recently established Living Lab, where the SmartPort Living Lab, which is currently in preparation, is also due to move into in the foreseeable future, while Ms Joelina Kremp showed some examples from the new ISL Maritime Markets Datahub, in which ISL data on ports, hinterland transport and terminals can be made available to customers online and conveniently. Patrick Specht also presented some of the results of the completed IW-Net project to the Senator and her entourage, including the patented shore power box for inland vessels.

Overall, this was an informative visit for all sides in a very good atmosphere and ISL is looking forward to continuing the good co-operation.
