Design Thinking Workshop at ISL
Last Wednesday, an informative workshop on Design Thinking took place for the research associates at ISL under the direction of Prof. Dr. Sven Hermann.
Sven Hermann is, among other things, Chairman of the Board of LogistikLotsen for the Northwest Metropolitan Region. As part of this role, he offered a workshop for ISL that introduced participants to the practices and mindset of design thinking as well as other creative methods and agile practices.
Design thinking is a creative approach to problem solving that focuses on the needs of users. Innovative solutions to complex problems are developed through empathy, teamwork and iterative processes. The process typically includes phases such as problem definition, brainstorming, prototyping and testing. The aim is to gain new perspectives and generate user-centered results through experimentation and feedback.
Understanding this method gives the research associates at ISL a further approach to tackling complex problems and finding a suitable solution in a targeted manner.
We would like to thank Sven Hermann for this instructive and, above all, communicative workshop and for sharing his expertise with us!
