MARSEC 2024

The 4th "European Workshop on Maritime Systems Resilience and Security" (MARESEC 2024) will take place in Bremerhaven from 6 to 7 June 2024. The event is dedicated to research into resilience, security, technology and the associated ethical, legal and social aspects (ELSA) in the context of maritime systems. This includes offshore and onshore infrastructures, navigation and shipping as well as autonomous systems. The aim of the workshop is to bring researchers together to present new results and ongoing projects, exchange experiences and explore possible collaborations.

On 6 June, Prof. Dr Frank Arendt from the Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics will give a workshop keynote entitled "Resilience of Maritime Transport Chains - The Logistics Perspective" at 09:10.

MARSEC 2024 offers an excellent platform for researchers and experts to present new results and ongoing projects, exchange experiences and explore possible collaborations.

The event will be held in hybrid form - virtually and at the German Emigration Centre in Bremerhaven.
